Description

Faropenem sodium is the first listed oral penem antibiotic in China. It has a 4-hydrofuran group attached to the 2-position of the parent nucleus of penem. Its chemical structure is relatively stable, and its basic structure is similar to β-lactam antibiotic Chemicalbook, which belongs to the non-typical β-lactam antibiotic. It has good affinity with penicillin and good β-lactamase stability, and is a national class four new drug developed in China. It has broad spectrum antibacterial activity
