Description
Fexofenadine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt form of fexofenadine, serving as the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) classified as a second-generation, non-sedating antihistamine. It functions as a selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist, effectively inhibiting histamine-induced allergic responses with minimal penetration of the blood-brain barrier, thereby significantly reducing central nervous system side effects such as drowsiness.

Applications
