Description
Glyceryl Monooleate 90 (GMO-90) is a non-ionic, lipophilic emulsifier consisting predominantly of the monoester of glycerol with oleic acid. It is a mixture of monoacylglycerols, mainly mono-oleoylglycerol, together with variable quantities of di- and triacylglycerols. The "90" denotes a nominal monoester content of at least 90%. It is considered safe, non-toxic, and fully biodegradable. The product is often stabilized with an antioxidant such as mixed tocopherols.
