Description
Essential oils are encapsulated with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) to form inclusion complexes, improving aqueous solubility and reducing volatility. Various EOs have been studied: Boswellia sacra, clove, eucalyptus, turmeric. The optimal preparation for clove EO: 90 W ultrasonic power, 13:1 wall-to-core ratio, 38°C, 56 min, encapsulation efficiency 81.38%.

Enhanced stability and controlled release by manipulating temperature and relative humidity. Store in tightly sealed containers, protected from light and moisture, at room temperature.
