Description
Hydroquinone (HQ) is encapsulated with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) to form an inclusion complex (HQ-HPCD). The complex enhances photostability and oxidative resistance compared to free HQ. It provides sustained release of hydroquinone in the epidermal layer
