Description
Triclosan, a poorly water-soluble antimicrobial drug, is encapsulated with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) to form an inclusion complex. The complex is obtained from aqueous solution with the addition of ammonia. Complete drug amorphisation and/or inclusion complexation is achieved
