Description
Paclitaxel is a natural taxane chemotherapeutic agent with broad applications in oncology. It functions as a microtubule-stabilizing agent, binding to β-tubulin and promoting excessive microtubule polymerization and stabilization. This disrupts normal mitotic spindle dynamics, arresting cells in the G2/M phase and inducing apoptosis.
