Description
Palonosetron Hydrochloride exhibits a long half-life and high receptor-binding affinity, providing prolonged blockade of 5-HT₃ receptors in the peripheral and central nervous system. Unlike first-generation antagonists, it demonstrates positive allosteric binding and inhibits 5-HT₃ receptor-mediated cross-talk with other signaling pathways (e.g., substance P/NK₁), contributing to its superior efficacy in the delayed phase of CINV.
