Description
Mechanism is a CXCR4 chemokine receptor antagonist. By reversibly blocking the binding of stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) to CXCR4 on HSCs, it disrupts the retention signals that anchor these cells in the bone marrow niche, thereby promoting their rapid release into the bloodstream.
