Product Introduction

Plastic is a synthetic resin as the basic component, adding plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers, lubricants, colorants and other additives, by artificial synthesis of polymer materials. Plastic has good water resistance, moisture resistance, oil resistance, insulation, and light weight, can be colored, easy to produce, can be shaped into a variety of shapes and adapt to printing, its rich sources of raw materials, low cost, excellent performance, is one of the most important packaging materials in modern sales packaging.

Characteristics of Plastic Packaging Materials

The most important feature of plastic packaging materials is the light weight and good mechanical properties, which can play a role in reducing the weight of transportation and facilitating transportation for many goods that need to be transported over long distances. Plastic materials have a very suitable barrier and permeability. Plastic packaging optical properties are very good, because plastic packaging materials can be made transparent, so when it is made into packaging containers, we can see the contents clearly, this indirect way to promote the effect is very good.

Plastic packaging materials have good hygiene, for those pure polymer resin, plastic packaging can be said to be almost non-toxic, when we want to carry out medicine, food packaging, can be applied with confidence.

Classification of Plastic Packaging Materials

Plastics can be divided into two categories according to their own properties: thermoplastics, which can be repeatedly molten and molded, and thermosets, which can only be molten once. According to their uses, they can be divided into general-purpose plastics, which are widely used, inexpensive and have good overall performance, and engineering plastics, which are particularly good in a certain performance, such as special plastics with good radiation resistance and high temperature resistance. According to the crystalline size of thermoplastic resin molecules, thermoplastics can be divided into two categories: amorphous polymers and crystalline polymers.
