Description
Safflower oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of the safflower plant. It is a triglyceride composed primarily of unsaturated fatty acids. The oil is available in two main varieties: high-linoleic (typically 68–75% linoleic acid) and high-oleic (typically 70–80% oleic acid). In its refined form, it appears as a clear, pale yellow to golden-yellow liquid.
