Description
Sodium lauryl polyoxyethylene ether sulfate (commonly known as SLES or AES) is an anionic surfactant. It is a mixture of sodium salts of sulfated ethoxylated lauryl alcohol. In its raw form, it typically appears as a white or pale yellow gel-like paste, or a colorless to pale yellow liquid. It is known for its excellent foaming, cleansing, and emulsifying properties聽and is considered milder on the skin compared to sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).
