Dissolving Microneedles Development Services

Features of Dissolving Microneedles

Dissolving microneedles are prepared by mixing a drug with a degradable polymer material, fluidizing the polymer material containing the drug into a microneedle mold using solvent dissolution, melting and other methods, pending a series of operations such as cooling and drying, and have the following characteristics:

1. It can penetrate the skin stratum corneum to achieve precise drug delivery, which helps transdermal delivery of large molecule drugs and water-dissolving drugs.

2. Made of degradable polymer material, it can effectively avoid the potential risk of needle tip breakage in the skin and prevent drug leakage.

3. The needle body is tiny, which can avoid contact with nerve endings and make the pain minimal or even painless.
