The Process of Developing Granules

In addition to the main drug, granules can also be added with appropriate amounts of flavoring agents, fragrances, colorants, dispersants and preservatives. Enteric-coated, sustained-release, and controlled-release granules can be prepared by adding functional excipients or by granule coating. Wet granulation and dry granulation are common methods for preparing granules.
